Unless I can track down an autocavan kit innyhe next week or two, it'll be the standard linkage that goes back on Can you get the linkage in with the lump in? |

might have to drop the inlet manifold off, but that's not the end of the world.

Don't take this the wrong way, but given the cracking job on body, and the nice new clean suspension etc, I kind of expected the engine and box to be all cleaned and shiny too? I know it's only B&W but things like alternator and inlet manifold look a bit grubby to me?  |

in the fullness of time, it will get a rebuilt engine, and the block and box will be painted, manifold and alternator polished etc. but for the moment, i just want it on the road. i would do it now, but this project has cleaned me out

After a day of arseing about with wiring, and a change of dizzy, it runs!
Just need to plumb in a fuel system and tidy up the wiring, and then I can start on the brakes

Sadly not, and it's meant to be at a show in 3 weeks time  people keep breaking stuff and wanting it fixed, and I was planning to grab 2 weeeks hols to finish it, but changing jobs means I havent earned any holiday entitlement yet. Ah well, might be done for next summer... |

No more progress at the moment. Having a "proper" job where I don't get 4 days off a week has slowed me down, and most of my spare time has been taken up with keeping the rest of the family fleet on the road :/
