Lots of people have done their own harlequin resprays on all sorts of vws. Not seen a Rocco yet though, but i bet someone somewhere has. Got a trailer booked today. Picking it up at the weekend. Yay! Have you got somewhere dry to put the ancillaries etc back in when it's warmer.

Started on it proper this morning. First up, off with the old rear beam ...and on with the new Chucked my borbet copies on at the same time. Amazing the difference a change of wheels makes. still not got any tyres on the multispoke intras i bought

Isn't that over spray on the old rear beam?? Yup, its actually blueish grey etch primer. Pic with phone. It makes colours go weird in some lights

Jesus christ......first time I came accross this thread and I'd have sworn it would have been scrapped after the first bit of chopping out.......like watching a horror film was that LOL. Fella ought to be knighted for that job.

Today's effort got the engine in, and it spins over ok tomorrow I'll crack on with getting the loom in and see if I can get it running

What are you doing re the servo? Staying with the cross linkage or something else?

Unless I can track down an autocavan kit innyhe next week or two, it'll be the standard linkage that goes back on
