This turned up at the weekend - late mk2 golf gti engine (pb code?) And box, complete with ecu, loom and ancilliaries. Also got my eye on this nice 280mm brake setup I'm struggling to sell a 1.8T engine and ancils / loom / pedal / revo remapped ecu, forge DV if you want to make me an offer? 160K miles but sweet, due a belt kit, water pump and a stat I was quoted £300 for immob defeat and loom conversion for a Corrado G60

Thanks for the offer, but I'm gonna stick with the nice simple digipants. There are a few guys on the register on about doing a 20v conversion though, want me to post it up for you?

Ive got it on a few forums for £400 (the revo remap and the forge DV would cost you that), I've now listed all the individual parts for far more not including the engine itself or the turbo. £250 to you and you only as it is

went up to see it the other day. he was being really fussy about tiny imperfections in the roof. fill, sand, repeat. the next step was to get it onto the chassis tilter, shotblast the underside, etch prime, underseal, stonechip then body colour. then the inside, then finally the outside paint. he's hoping to have it done for the end of the month, other work permitting. been doing some more little bits this week, ready for when it comes home. built up my central locking controlbox on veroboard then mounted it into a box, with a multi connector on the wiring so it can be removed if/when it breaks worked out what i need to do for the engine wiring loom. largly going to be home made, as the golf loom is too different from the scirocco loom. this will also let me join in the immob wiring so it all look "factory" i also may have had a slightly beer influenced ebay session. and bought these mmm, shiny

Them alloys look nice IMO.
