Time to stand back and start again. These are basic enough so you have just overlooked something , I would check for ignition ,timing and compression and check your fuel is ok, I've seen water get into punto tanks before

Could it be the crank sensor isn't pushed home properly which would cause a non start. If they aren't positioned properly ie pushed home towards the forward of the engine it creates a non start push it back slightly towards the bulk head and you may find it will start.

I need to go back to it and start over again from the start. Once I have some answers to your points I'll post an update. Thanks for all of your inputs so far tho guys. Really appreciated

arent the bottom pulleys castilated for the crank sensor? they only fit on one way theres a hole in the pulley and a little pin on the crank pulley, make sure these are lined up as ive fitted them wrong in a rush once and caused the same issue

As suggested, take the plugs out and turn by hand. Recheck the timing and make sure the cam isn't out 180 degrees, and that you've put the crank pulley on correctly. You're correct Chris, the crank pulley (or phonic wheel as Fiat call it) and the cog have a pimple and dimple arrangement which must line up so that the crank pulse is produced correctly relative to the cranks true position.
