I suppose the 777 now makes up the backbone of the wide body cargo fleet, with the 747 gradually being retired. That’s going to be quite a hit if they are all grounded. (I see all aircraft equipped with the Pratt & Witney 4000 Have already been grounded - but I don’t know what proportion of 777s have that engine)

Have you found the 4140 to be a useful tool then?

Have you found the 4140 to be a useful tool then? Yes I have used it just the once up to now to change a blown bulb in the Instrument panel about a couple of months ago. I used it on the steering stalk cowling to seperate the two pieces and on the Instrument panel to pull it forward once all the screws had been removed. The trim tool worked a treat but some of the screws were a bit of a faff (some ok some ickle ones).

I use mine every shift, great for tow eye covers and stripping down key fobs as well as interior trim, also good on battery replacement where you have to dismantle half the engine bay plastic to even see the battery (why do they do this when the Japanese seem to make it a dead easy job?)
