I've ordered the one trickydicky recommended. I managed to source a good second hand working drivers side electric folding mirror with a puddle light from eBay. Managed to take the old one off and fit the new one without a trim removal tool ( used a small flatblade screwdriver) and it's working as should. Signs that before my ownership someones been in their before. The only thing on these the colour coded covers are interchangeable as they pop off from the mirror assembly. I've used my old Performance blue one and kept the grey one that came on the used mirror. I'm keeping the puddle light function off my old one but I don't think the broken on is repairable? As for replacing the blown bulb in the Instrument panel I'm going to wait until I get the trim tool as I recon a screwdriver could possibly scratch or damage the panel or trim. Just make sure you wash the "screwdriver" and return it to the kitchen drawer and she'll never know

I did ask her permission first and returned it from where it came (kitchen draw). Now her knicker draws another story. (Nobody gets to go in their.)

Has your 4140 skin wedge turned up yet? Not yet no. It's (Royal Mail 2nd Class) free P&P and could be a while.

My all time favourite is Jimi Hendrix who was taken far to young. I had only just turned 16 a couple of weeks before his passing.

I really like Claptons 60s stuff best when he still played his Gibson ES335, it's the coolest sounding guitar ever, I think Hendrix influenced him into switching to a Stratocaster (because he was just amazing) and although Claptons songwriting got way better I'll always miss that bluesy tone!!! Both geniuses of course, what's really great about Eric Clapton is that he never got stuck in one band, as soon as they reached the point of superstardom he would move on and become something else, that's a bold man for you!!! I always wonder where poor Jimi Hendrix would have wound up if he survived, I'm pretty sure he would have embraced electronic music and turned out some mindbending stuff or maybe become an old blues player teaching young kids how to really play!! Who knows??
