I'm looking for a recommendation for the above subject please. I have a set but a family member borrowed them and they still have them and under the current climate I'm not allowed to go and get them. Plus it's thirty mile round trip. Loads on ebay hence my thread. T.I.A.

Ideally I'm looking for a set of trim tools as I need to remove my Mondeo ST220 dash to replace a blown bulb in the Instrument panel. So ideally a set that contains trim disassemble tools, release tools, and a small pick type tool similar or like this.I'm also tying to source a good second hand working drivers side electric folding mirror with a puddle light. I rang my local Ford warehouse near me and asked how much for a new one. I very nearly had a coronary. We'll have to order one. No you won't I aint paying that.

Trust me the "skin wedge" is the absolute best trim tool ever, I use mine for every job where gentle prying is required it's very useful for interior trim, opening keys, tow eye covers and engine work It's very thin at the tip but still stiff enough to give enough force and the rounded edges prevent any damage I would be lost without it!!! If you really want a plastic kit buy a "Bojo" kit, they are very good quality and not silly money www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bojo-Blue-Genius-10-Piece-Kit-Plastic-Car-Trim-Radio-Pry-Tool-Snap-On-Off-Wrap/262883992642?hash=item3d351b6442:g:zLoAAOSwDNRcfSbS

Attachment Deleted I use one of these from Draper and a plastic assembly wedge from Wurth and a small flatblade screwdriver. Thats all you don't need a fancy trim tool kit.

Ok cheers getting paranoid about scratching or damaging the trim I need to remove when I do the two jobs. Bladdy freezing outside. Flurries of the white stuff but nothing heavy.

Fingers and hands are also a useful tool for removing trims.

I've ordered the one trickydicky recommended. I managed to source a good second hand working drivers side electric folding mirror with a puddle light from eBay. Managed to take the old one off and fit the new one without a trim removal tool (used a small flatblade screwdriver) and it's working as should. Signs that before my ownership someones been in their before. The only thing on these the colour coded covers are interchangeable as they pop off from the mirror assembly. I've used my old Performance blue one and kept the grey one that came on the used mirror. I'm keeping the puddle light function off my old one but I don't think the broken on is repairable? As for replacing the blown bulb in the Instrument panel I'm going to wait until I get the trim tool as I recon a screwdriver could possibly scratch or damage the panel or trim.
