Yep Google play store CARMIN is a free app or CARMIN pro is a nominal £30 odd quid, it's a selection of wiring diagrams from various sources all organised into manufacturer groups Like any kind of data its a bit hit and miss, but there is some good stuff if you search it Try the free version (with ads) first When you work for a big organisation the mechanics all chat about new tools and ideas and different ways of doing stuff

You are out and about - meeting people - dropping dead cars off at lots of premises - talking to lots of the trade. I am stuck in the corner of a yard - isolated from everything. All me and Rusky talk about is food! I am sort of in my own little "gold fish bowl" - if you know what I weakly trying to say trickydicky?

Well I'll always try to share if that's any help, besides this group of stalwarts I recommended the simplydiag network to keep up to date They are a great bunch of guys and girls sharing info and best practice They also have a good group of dealer master techs who will share TSBs and info if you are a paying member Free training webinars from network partners like pico and techtopics etc £15 a month, but you can get some decent discounts from some good suppliers and training providers like diagnostic connections etc I think you would definately be an asset with your depth of knowledge and experience If your buying a new scantool or renewing subscriptions regularly I dare say it would even pay for itself, if it helps you fix a couple of headscratchers you might even make a bit of profit from the group!!!! It's a little bit like iATN used to be in the good old days but with a UK bias

Just been setting this up, took several attempts to be able to access the other makes of vehicle, after initially setting it up for Fords.
Only got Fords here to test it on, think I have managed to download the Vauxhall package as I have a none starting or died and won't restart Corsa 1.3cdti to have a look at tomorrow, so hopefully it will connect to that a bit easier.

Nothing like a new diagnostic interface/software to abosorb just hours of your time.

Yeah I know what you are saying, several attempts to connect to the Corsa C, had to manually input the vin number and then it behaved quite well, OBD had no codes stored where as a proper scan of the engine ecu revealed 5 or 7 codes. Some immobiliser codes and one for cam sensor.
I thought the engine sounded odd when cranking, so I removed the cam sensor and got the owner to crank the engine, camshaft ain't turning.
Off to China with it.

Today we had a 2019 Peugeot partner in for service, needed rear brakes replacing. Our big Bosch KTS think it's a 350 touch screen, it started winding the calipers back then had a moment, came up with message about unexpected response or something like that. After a load of messing and a fault code that then decided it had reset the calipers. Work mate did the mechanical side then asked me to re activate the calipers and parking brake. 30mins later no matter what I did the code wouldn't clear and I couldn't set the calipers back up.
Luckily I live about a 5 min drive from work, went and got the thinkdiag dongle.
Less than 5 minutes and the calipers were reset and the parking brake worked.
Thankfull of that tbh as it was becoming a right pain.

I've noticed that the KTS is pretty poor for French vans in general.

Read a few good reviews for this tool, which is basically a Launch X431 pro mini (Software only/VCi version)from what I can tell, with bi-directional and special functions, graphing data etc Just provide your own tablet/phone Obviously Chinese developed, but might be a cheap starter tool for somebody thinkdiag.co.uk/I will not give feedback on tools as this would be bias of me but if anyone has any questions please let me know as i work for the company thinkdiag uk. Thank you for your feedback tickydicky We always appreciate honest feedback on the products we sell.

I like it so far, still getting my head around it and finding my way through things when needed.

I like it so far, still getting my head around it and finding my way through things when needed. Pretty normal... I am a few months into our new Luanch - and I am still finding out how it works and new functions I did not know were there. Par for the cource mate!
