Never seen one split like that before Neither have I on such a heavy prestigious motor vehicle. Yes they bend and twist or crush but not open up like that unless something isn't right.

Cut n shut That was my assumption as well. I reckon they got the cars the wrong way around in the news report...The one that split in half had the 4 people in it flying around the road...The other one all the doors and windows were shut.. 18 - 21 year olds..Cut and shut/cloned etc It's hard to fathom out what's happened though.

It's hard to fathom out what's happened though. Their luck ran out / Game Over / Lack of imagination and/or skill / Audi anti-perforation warranty not all it's cracked-up to be It's your choice...

No they way I have read it the A5 that split in half had one person (incident party I believe who passed away)and the white Audi A6 S-Line had four occupants. Look at this link and you will see in the first picture two halves of the A5 and the A6 just forward of the A5. The Police are looking for another vehicle which they suspect was racing with the A5 before the incident.

Unless my eyes are failing me, one of them is grey, the other silver... None of them look white?! I'm not picking holes with you Nobster, just the news report..

Seen a photo of the front of the A5 shoved in the back of a big van. I'll see if I can find it and put a link up later on.

Surprised at the trucks they were using for recovery. Round here, any crash involving fatal or life changing injuries has to be recovered without the wheels moving. Crane only, not winching them onto flatbeds
