Think I've only used the car once in the last 2 months, kinda gone off the boil with it.
So with the hope of regaining some enthusiasm for it I've booked it in to the tuners tomorrow for a power run and hopefully some mapping and more boost.

You aint wrong mate, I've only been to one show this year, although I'm at a weekend show this weekend.
The house is coming along well, got a couple of hold ups with some jobs so plan B will be coming into action.
Our daughter consumes massive amounts of time, really amazes me just how much, 9 months gone already, i bet its been at least a year since i had consecutive good nights sleep.

So after getting to the tuner today I wasn't wrong when I thought it didn't feel as fast as it used to, it was nearly 50bhp down. So after a few hours of tinkering and adjustments and checks and many pulls on the dyno we got it back to a respectable. It hasn't made the 300+ BHP I had hoped for but it is a lot better now, need to get the boost controller sorted out now as thats what is stopping it running and holding more boost. The bleed valve which crudely controls boost won't give it anymore. Sounds like the lower gearbox stabilizer bracket bolts have worked a bit lose so I need to check that out before Saturday.

I don't know if I've ever mentioned how much I hate this car at times.

b*gger. Too much power or not enough give in the bushing? Maybe a combo of, 1, not enough give. 2, too much power. 3, a dickhead driver.

Easy enough to weld and beef up and a softer bush A nice big spreader plate either side of the floor should do the trick. It looks like the floor is quite thin there to start with, so probably all for the best in the long-run....

The car was repaired last week, I just need to refinish the surrounding areas with the appropriate seam sealer and paints etc, I've just spoken to the fabricator after this evenings driving, we are going to look at doing away with the rose joint on the lower mount and replacing it with another bush to try and reduce some of the vibration.
