me mowers playing up  runs great but when i stop it wont re start  if i leave it 5=10 mins it will though  any idears ? its a 5hp honda  |

My mower started 3rd pull of the cord. Even with the fuel in it from last year. Smoked for a few seconds and then it was fine |

Don't turn it off?
Does it have a silly coil pack or a proper magneto?

Coil went on mine last year. New one was more expensive than a new mower  |

Try taking the petrol tank cap off then starting it. I had a mower conk out and refuse to start. Turns out the tank vent hole in the cap was blocked.

ive given it all a good clean even sharpened it seams ok so ill see how it goes today .....

nope was ok all day except the exhast heat shield broke off its bottom mount
