I agree, I think if you love doing it as a hobby, u should keep it to that. I love the internet also, does help my confidence seeing someone on videos doing it step by step, or . Depends what you mean by that Matt. ;D Released before you where born young Matt.

DIYer but been doing it all my life on family and friends cars. I still enjoy it, but mainly because it's as and when I feel like it and when I've had enough I can close the garage and forget it for a while. Especially the Stag!

After 30 years full time in the motor repair trade. 26 years of this has been owning and running my own garages.
I hate cars... Too complex and too expensive to repair.
Customers are now rude and too demanding in the whole.

Yes and no. I love a challange..It's in the blood.. But, things are getting fair too complex, and people are getting far too impatient. In the future I'd like to get into Restoration full time

Thats the kinda era I am into and 90's too, before cars got all high tech. Best thing about the 90's and 80's is there still a ok supply of parts. Well kind of lol
