VW transporter, 1.9TDI engine code BRS, Dont spose anyone could tell me how to reset the service interval flag and also what the timing belt change interval is, van is on 68,000 miles at the mo

If it has not had a belt changed yet it is probably overdue, 4 years/75,000 miles  Service light depends on whether it is on the longlife service intervals, that needs a scanner to reset. Fixed service intervals can be reset using the buttons by the central info display, hold the button to the right in, switch on, "Service" should be displayed, let that button out and turn the button on the left side of the display to the right to reset the display and then switch off.  |
