I put too much oil in my Nissan Qashqai and need to extract 1.5 liters
I have drained oil before using the oil drain plug under the car, however I am having problems getting to the drain plug for this car
To extract it I was thinking of using a tube (clear aquiarian sort of tubing) to suck out 1.5 liters of oil. Suck it through until the tube is full and then put the end of the tube lower than the other end and the oil should drain out
Would that work, or could it cause problem like the tube getting stuck and then I have to pull apart the engine to extract the tube
Any feedback is appreciate. Thank you

All you're going to do is end up with a mouthful of oil.
Park it up on a kerb and drain some out.

I got a vacuum extractor built into a workshop oil drainer.
But for it to work - the oil has gotta be hot - or it takes hours and uses loads of air

In principle, there is nothing wrong with your proposal.
In practice, unless you suck as much as Piers Morgan, I suspect you will struggle to suck the oil up the tube to start the siphon.
You can buy pumps to extract the oil out of the dipstick tube.

All you're going to do is end up with a mouthful of oil. Park it up on a kerb and drain some out. But with that much overfill of oil, it’s probably best not to start the engine. If you don’t have suitable workshop equipment to lift the car and support it to get under best to get to the drain plug, then suggest you call a mobile mechanic. It shouldn’t be too expensive as it’d be a very easy job for any mobile mechanic. I’d guess £40??

Not heard of a measuring jug or dipstick? Filling it to that sort of extreme is asking for trouble big time….you could end up locking the engine up! Advice? Do what Huffo said…. And…,hope you learned a lesson…. Sorry to be brusque….
