I’d imagine once there is inventory and stock doesn’t sell the next car to arrive the item would just go to recycling?
Their storage system would need to be vast as a multi make breaker, I suppose they want to be the Amazon of the used car part world?
There a a few breakers on fb that don’t have storage so quick break of the sought after parts and off to the crusher they go.

i got a skoda engine off them a couple of years ago, good to deal with & felt like the most honest salvage dealer i've ever spoken to, if they have what you want on ebay it's worth ringing them, i got a healthy discount for my cheek

Fascinating documentary, and encouraging to see this firm take a high-tech approach to maximum reuse of parts.
I'm not sure that many of the cars lined-up were actually ripe for recycling, they seemed better than the usual cars around around my neck of the woods! That would be the true measure of "green" which would be to have a facility that could override the insurance "write-off" mis-categorisation of cars, maybe use the parts they have already on-site to repair them back to a decent standard, and get them back onto the market complete?
