youtu.be/gkbm7SKlmSUI like this. I think a derv model would last 15 years as a workhorse. It's built like a Tank. Shame he didn't stick to his plan and make/build them here in Wales though.

Having driven them, They are almost impossible to get in and out of, and they have somehow managed to keep the original turning circle of the old defender which was disappointing. Loads of electronic stuff underneath left out in the open. but not bad first effort 6/10

I would have one in a heartbeat. I have followed this from the first days, nearly 5years now, and it's the only new car I would buy. Everything else out there is rubbish, just blinged-out piles of junk assembled around some fancy bit of ICE in the centre-console (just look at the Astra electric advert right now - doesn't it seem like they have nothing to commend it except a wide-boy stereo?)
Too much on this is correct, and when you've driven a proper Defender for more than half your life, little things like ingress/egress, and the odd shape of tunnel just don't matter. Getting home safe and sound means more.
I hope this vehicle is banned in cities. It shouldn't be bought by urban-cowboys, it needs to be used as a workhorse.
Amen.

It’s like a holiday camp to be honest So relaxed I’d be stressed to hell normally That’s no reflection on the old garage Just how it was

It’s like a holiday camp to be honest So relaxed I’d be stressed to hell normally That’s no reflection on the old garage Just how it was Good Karl I am glad it is going well - Indie trade is/can be too stressfull at times. I don't really know why - but it is. When/if I have a heart attack - I will/might know why! ----------- Only last week I took an MOT retest late ish in the afternoon to a local garage on our trading estate. Owner doing his "nut" - young MOT tester looked "unhappy". I asked what was wrong - young lad said - I diagnosed that van with a DPF - we have fitted a £2700 DPF - it runs OK now - but we can't get DPF warning light off the dash/its got no faultcodes in anything - customer coming in an hour to collect it.
Stand back children - I have been here before myself. Plugged it in with there VCDS. They been adding the wrong block numbers to the adaption change for hours - again and again. They been putting "0" in a box - instead of "1". But for some unknown reason - I had to perform the operation three or four times myself to get it to reset. When it did reset - the face of relief on the other garage owners face was a joy to watch. Then the p#ss taking started. But joking aside - it is the lack of info - simple things going wrong or just not going right quick enough - too much money involved - deadlines. Frustration. The list is endless - but the stress is real and it there.

Just started to see proper reviews by owners who have received their Grenadiers. On-balance, it lives up to the hype. Many of the boxes that need to be ticked, have been ticked.
Getting in and out of the thing seems to be less of an issue than first thought, with a technique that becomes automatic in both directions.
First big problem is the windscreen wiper pattern. Someone has dropped a b*****k there, as both LHD and RHD equally have poor clearance near the driver's A-pillar. I understand that INEOS are working on this, and it's the sort of thing that is not insurmountable, but nonetheless it should not have gone out in the field like this.
