Picked this up the other day. Not the best impact gun you can buy, and the sockets seem a bit lightweight, but seems a good enough shout at £70

My mate rates his for value for money, I've got one sat in the garage at home but haven't used it yet as I can never be bothered working on Escort.

I had a go last night and aside from needing to roll up to the 3rd notch on the torque settings it whizzed a wheel nut off OK.

Even if it don't - it still gonna make your life easier - crack them off with breaker bar and wizz them out/in. Then nip them up with a torque wrench. (you know industry standard stuff - which every tyre fitter in the land pratices every day).

It looks like the Boschmann/Neilsen brand, which I had years ago. It's just the batteries don't last long,as in,staying charged

Amateurs......just leave the breaker-bar on, and reverse out the garage for a few yards. Until the wheel bolt shears…. …. It depends if it's a LH or RH wheel, and whether it has LH threads or not.
To be really sure, you need to drive forwards again, avoiding the workbench and/or chest-freezer at the back of the garage. Remember to catch the breaker-bar as it comes flying past the window, as the rebound off the garage door and through the windscreen can often spoil your day.
