valhalla - new version VCDS is out... Hoping it will do new service lights on Audi cars. Been having to use Launch of late for this - tiresome - time consuming BallAche...

I have been holding-off updating the VCDS for a wee whiley now. It gets a bit past a joke when it continually whinges for an update every time I use it, as (as you are no-doubt aware) Rosstech insists on updating the whole database each time, not just the changed files, so the process is not very efficient.......
I will link the PC, HEX-NET and internet together tomorrow, and see if I can do this in my own time, rather than waiting until the last minute with a customer car; it will probably be the T6 ABS sensor on Tuesday morning that will need this first, but I have a Golf lurking in my layby (dropped-off this afternoon whilst I was running the shop) right now.....  |

I did my HEX-NET update as I plugged a customers car in and yes it does take ages. This time it came with a firmware update for the dongle as well. Don't moan mate - its free (updates)... ----------
