Don’t suppose anyone has one lying around they could send me? On the final stretch with the MBG, stripped and cleaned the dizzy today and it’s good as new, but has one cap clip missing.
Annoyingly lots for other models on eBay nice and cheap but not the 25d, surprising as it went on so many cars in the day inc Minis, MGs, Triumphs, Landies- even some tractors I believe! Found one supplier via Google but they quote £17.89 for one, I kid you not!

I'm guessing its the dizzy body to cap clips he's after if its two of them.
Rimmers are good suppliers and carry almost everything, problem is they do charge a lot for the convenience

Yes it’s the cap clip I need, not the clamp plate. Not sure I have anything “springy” enough to make one- but thanks for the link rhyds they should do, shame they only come in pairs but won’t hurt to have 2 new ones ….
