The most common cause for radiator hose collapse is a vacuum issue caused by a faulty radiator cap.  |

Vacuum caused by bad radiator cap (coolant bottle cap).
Beat me to it...

That’s what I always thought so fitted a new one yesterday. Fault still persists. The expansion tank has stress marks on it. Car was booked in for water leak
