No money in the small car market, other models will take over it's place, time moves on.

‘Er-indoors’ first car was a 957cc Fiesta on a W plate, 1981,…had a recon engine fitted under warranty by the supplying dealer within the first few weeks of owning it. Part ex that for a C plated 1.1, then a G plated one in white, moved onto a Ford Direct one on an M plate, then an S plate, then onto a 54 plate 1.25….current model is a 1.25 on a 63 plate, with 18k on the clock.Don’t think we will be getting rid of it anytime soon…but a shame it’s come to an end…
I still don’t believe leccy is the future…unless the hydrogen cell is perfected…. Besides, who wants to drive a milk float ffs!?

Production of the S-MAX and Galaxy models will also end in Ford's factory in Valencia Spain, by next April. Three new electric car models and four commercial vehicles will be launched in Europe by 2024 I understand. Ford and VW are in talks about using the Volkswagen Group MEB platform as part of a tie-up between the two companies. Well I for one won't be buying one.
