Hi and welcome... Buy a new "coupler" - it will just be easier. Normally I find the bayonets worn on the male coupler - and this causes the leaks.

I use standard UK PCL 1/4" fittings on 6mm bore pipe.
For bigger stuff I use - highflow - PCL 1/2" 100series fittings on 13mm bore pipe.
------------
If I could do it again and I can't really as I have too much stuff - I would go for Rectus 21 series fittings on the 1/4" stuff (these are the best of the best).

Try the "Garage Journal" website somebody will know exactly what brand they are, but be careful it will end up costing you a fortune in tools you never knew you needed 🤐

They immediately got me the correct brand. TRACTOR SUPPLY's Job Smart Brand! Here: (but mine is 3/8 not 1/4) www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/jobsmart-1-4-in-x-1-4-in-male-industrial-plug-stm8t073I guess I can forget trying to find a replacement washer from this economy brand.
