Hi The above car (77,000 miles) is reported as having a wobble from the back - noticeable when customer is changing lanes and particlualry if they make contact with the cats eyes on the road. Car is well maintained. I havent seen car but suspect it is something to do with bushes.
Anything common to fail on these? Thanks Matt

Remove old ones, refit new ones. Or were you wanting it more detailed than that?
Sent from my HTC One SV using proboards

There is a special tool that makes the job easier but costs approx £300!
Without the tool it's subframe out and cut and drill them out.
Approx a £100 a side for someone to do the job for you.

Thanks for the reply. I read elsewhere that it is a ball joint that fails but it actually looks like a Bush. Is that the one you are talking about. Can it just be removed and installed using threaded rod and nuts and washers to press in and out if you know what I mean. I would be doing this on the floor. Appreciate any tips

Appreciate any tips The axle carrier bush is in front of the rear wheel...Not a chance for doing on the floor..Have a look and you'll see what I mean..And no you won't be able to use bits of studding etc..The bush goes upwards and you can't get to the other side of it. Just find a local BMW specialist
