I've just had a pop up from Adobe telling me that Flash Player end-of-life (EOL) on 31st December 2020. What can I download that is recommended and safe as an alternative for watching videos, listening to audio/music or playing games ta.

TBH Flash is pretty dodgy security wise these days. Most browsers such as chrome either have their own runtime or just block flash content these day

It's a rare thing to find websites running Flash these days, and most of the old ones that do still run Flash are probably worth avoiding at this stage.
It's better to just avoid Flash and accept the very rare occasion that a website does not run as it should.

Youtube still works but not the games sight I have been using. Are well I'll have to do without. Thanks for the heads up.

I got that message this evening too. There was an "uninstal" button on the front page so I just clicked that. The parts of Youtube that I use seem to be working OK.

I was surprised the other day to find IKEA website required me to install Flash to use their room builder tools.
