I tend to stick to the Autoglym stuff as despite being a bit pricier its always gives good results. I tend to use their bodywork shampoo and a splash of super resin polish every now and again. However the best stuff they make is their upholstery shampoo/cleaner (the one in a trigger spray bottle). That stuff will pull stains out of almost anything, and I've even used it to clean stuff like carpets in the house to great results (Better than vanish!)

I use Autoglym products too ( resin polish and whatever else needs cleaning polishing...) as recommended by RR...... ( if its good enough for them....)
I generally just use a wash/wax stuff from Asda...,coz I'm cheap...Wont use car washes of any description....if I want a scratch finish, I'll do it myself... Secret is plenty of water to wash off any abrasives.... Dont was as often as I should......( although I do shower everyday....😂😂😂😂 )

I also don't think it is any easier with a pressure washer either? I just use a hose pipe. Little Karcher I got at home - while it has enough pressure - it just don't seem to provide enough volumne of water to rinse them down!

I also reckon with a pressure washer - if you have any stone chips you can have the lacquer off the top of the paint. My old Father reckons leaving bird pooh on your car paintwork is bad (not that I have had a problem ever). Plus he says you gotta wash your car down the morning of a funeral - just in case you get in the line of cars in the funeral cortege. This I always do if I go to a funeral.

I've got a cupboard full of cleaning and detailing products, now I have a child I just have no time to use any of it. I think I gave the daily cars a going over during furlough but they really need doing again now before winter, no time though or when I do have time the weather is dreadful.
At one point I was washing the cars at least once a week.
