My power probe I have at work is becoming somewhat temperamental to say the least. So I need a new one rather than fetching my home one to work. Just looking on ebay and this has caught my eye. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/372408315083Any thoughts?

Looks very similar to an Autel ps100 the body and clips are different but the screens and functions look the same (But adds diode test)
Probably made in the same factory
along with the V-gate pt150
Good tool, includes a graphing function for testing digital and A/C signals

I just use a 20 pound one off ebay. I just use it for either applying a power or ground. All other checks can be done with a multi meter.

Thats true, but this new generation of Chinese power probes can also graph signals and intermittent drop outs quite successfully, then of course there is the convenience of not constantly looking for good grounds and power supplies they are a great time saver As long as you take into account the limitations, they are very affordable and useful

Looks reasonable for the money
I’ve still got a old PP1
Quite fancy the latest versions
But don’t fancy the cost
For £50 could be worth a shot

i bought a s/hand powerprobe hook / lightsabre a few months ago, it's really quite good one positive thing i would say it because it's so complicated to use & i'm of an age where i'm running out of knowledge stooring capacity i have to look up what i want to do, so never get tempted to give it a shot of 12v up it's nose in haste/error
