Not been on for a long time. Just thought I would say hi to all.
What a crap 18 months / 2 years, for me personally anyway. Been 1 thing after another, and the virus issues on top to just make everything worse.
Will be glad to be able to get back to some sort of normality, and even some work, any work.
Hope you are all having a better time than me !

Prey tell us all - we are among friends.... ------------------------------ Yes it has been funny times - but I think we have all escaped the virus - I have worried about Lincspoacher - but he is OK - his health is very poor and he won't mind me telling you all this.

Thanks, gents, overall I am doing ok, I am alive and not caught the virus.
Sorry to hear about lincspoacher too.
Like most people on here I guess, I hardly had any reason to visit the doctor for years. 2019, that changed. Had a major issue (not life threatening) in 2019 that took me off my feet for weeks/months. Lost 10% of body weight in a few weeks, which took ages to rebuild. Had to give up on cars for that for ages, so took a job home delivering for a supermarket, which was ok but not exciting, but not really pressured or over exerting either.
Recovered from that, and then had an episode, december last year on a plane flight back from USA, ended up having to lay on the floor, feet up, in the stewards/galley area at back of plane. Various tests, doctors and consultants later ended up having a heart monitor fitted to record heart activity. Nobody has really confirmed what happened, but all think its heart related in some way. Monitor is fitted under the skin, in place for up to 2 years, basically waiting for another instance to happen so they can analyse the recordings to determine the cause. High normal, but ok blood pressure (age, weight etc taken into account). Obvioulsy couldn't work for a while, whilst under investgations, and then for recovery time. Wasn't allowed to drive or exert for a few weeks, so no cars, or supermarket working.
And then, since April this year, other issues that have stopped me working, including driving and exertion, not fit for work for at least another 4 weeks so I am told.
Too much in savings (not a fortune I promise), meant I can't claim benefits of any sort, so been living off very basic sick pay + savings. Not bothered about the money ( but it is frustrating because took so long to build up), as long as I am alive and healthy enough to live sensibly.
Moral of the story. Seriously, look after your health while you can. Do not ignore any warning signs, get checked out.
Alive, and thats what matters.
