So Who knows owt about 3D printing that could be useful to a “virgin” like me? I’be bought a prusa i3 clone to assemble & have a go with
If I’m going to be off work much longer I may as well be learning something that could be useful inbetween my latest bike restoration job anyway. I have zero knowledge, don’t know how to use cad cam either, worthwhile YouTube tutorial vids?
I know someone on here knows how to use one 🤔

My eldest daughter used one quite a lot while at uni I think she may even have one of her own now. They are very clever machines, software wise she used one called Rhino at uni at their recommendation. It’s very good by all accounts and easy to get hold of, I got her autocad 2013 which she said was very powerful but you had to learn how to use it properly to get the best from it. I still have the disc somewhere if it helps. Best regards

Hi That may be quite a help thanks, I need to put mine together over the next couple of days & calibrate the axes apparently as most of the cheaper ones come a form not unlike mfi’s finest chest of drawers & wardrobes (yes, showing my age, I know)
