Price up repair for your engine. Price up second-hand engine with warranty and go from there. The vans served you well so if the numbers stack up if stick with it

If the bodywork is properly 100% solid I'd say get the engine done.

From memory (and I'm happy to be corrected) its rot that tends to kill vans, so a decent mill in a good body should see you right for a fair while

I think I would be tempted, in your case, to check the sills and the floorpans really, really carefully. A 2011 Transit is not usually a pretty sight at 9years old - corrosion is their worst enemy.
If it really is as good as you think - use a soft mallet to check it carefully - then weigh-up the costs of getting a s/h warranted engine fitted. The bodywork on these Fords is still pretty dreadful by modern standards (for example, they are very unpopular on the West Coast compared to other vans, because they rust with allacrity) so there should be plenty of choice with decent breakers-yards to get an indentical unit to yours that will go straight in to the engibe-bay.
Better the devil you know, and if you like the dimensions, that's pretty important.

That is about how much I would quote it out for...! (not nice is it). People do have them done - we do about one a month here. If you need a van for work - really need a van for business - there is an argument that any viable business should stand the cost of a new van every three to five years. Saying that - I buy five year old vans and keep them till their tenth birthday.
