looks like mums car has had it so i wanna get the deisel out put nearly a full tank so whats the best/easyest way idealy with stuff ive got hanging about the place

Is the fuel pump still working? If so, disconnect the fuel pipe, attach a long hose or tube and pump it out.

no pump aparently primer bulb under the bonnet but id rsther not spend half a day

no pump aparently primer bulb under the bonnet but id rsther not spend half a day Attach 12volt fuel pump where the primer bulb is connected - I have a Facet clicker type fuel pump for this job - we are always scrapping customer cars here. Most tanks now have an anti syphon device - it is impossible to get a pipe into the tank thru the fuel filler.
