We're all getting old Fingers crossed the steroid jabs do the trick.. Time for a change of job methinks, in the warm Try and enjoy your break I’m not sure they’ll take me back, ladders and stairs etc on top of the repetitive work that cause the arthritis in the hands anyway. It’s the longest break I’ve had since I left school, I could get used to it lol You may need to get some professional help at some point in the future depending how things go. Depends what type of arthritis you have been diagnosed with.

My father ended up with rheumetoid and it crippled him, destroyed his spirit - he wistled and sang everyday of his adult life until then, never happier than working with his hands. His brother died from the effects of his treatment in the 1960s, taking pills like smarties

The most common type of arthritis that can be caused by repetitive motion is osteoarthritis. Occupational health has given restrictions on my return (if ever) to the job I've done for 20 years on 01 Oct.

Sorry to hear of all the health problems with you lads, I must be one of the lucky one's 84 in 3 weeks time and still scroming under cars, but there is a sign on my garage door DADS SERVICE & REPAIR GARAGE OPEN WHEN I FEEL LIKE IT keeping my 3 rovers on the road & in show room condition is the only thing that keeps me going after the loss of my late wife, I can't see me ever putting the spanners down and I suppose one day they will find me laying under a car . All the best to you all Roverman
