Had any range rovers brought in for bodywork repairs? You are just down the road I think.

We don't do body repairs.
Truthfully - I don't want to do any repairs to any Land Rover products.
But lad opposite - DV8 AutoCustoms - always has Range Rovers in for bodywork (painting).
Why do you ask - PM me?

I did not get it either...
By all accounts Prince Phillip tipped a Range Rover on its side at Babingley - which is the next village to where I live. Don't think anybody was hurt. Prince Phillip has done a lot of good things for our area (to be honest more than any local MP we have ever had). In the early years it was improvements to estate/tide housing - retirement council bungalows - later on it has been charities - disabled kids - young offenders. Even in his late 90's Prince Phillip does get things done - I believe the local council dislike him - because they have apposed some of the good work he has done. He also has alienated himself from other rich/titled land owners locally (that is his rich landowning mates to me and you). It is difficult to ignore his privileged lifestyle - but cut him some slack - because he has made big improvements over the years to peoples lives who are less privileged than himself.

I think Philip put a Freelander on its side, not a Range Rover.
I know that Landrover like to badge anything as a Range Rover these days (not least sticking an "Evoque" on a Freelander platform), but in this case, it was a case of "wreck one Freelander, get another free the next day".
I think Landrover would badge an AC Invacar as a Range Rover if it thought it could convince the public to part with a bit more money!

I see items from the accident have appeared on an auction site, and have been hastily removed too.
Today, apparently a wheel bearing from the accident was for sale.
I didn't realise the accident was that bad that a wheel bearing had fallen off! Last 1 I removed didn't just fall off !
I am sure remmington didn't collect the debris and advertise it. Bits included broken glass and plastic mirror housings etc.

Wow, that vehicle must be coming apart quicker than most! I bet the coolant is still warm.......
It takes me a few days to get a Landrover stripped-down (it's quicker just to wait for the parts to drop-off down the road), so I reckon they must have had a team of specialists just waiting for Foggy to put this one on its side.
Or....maybe the auction site has a few little fibbers with random Freelander bits for sale.......
