Thought I'd lighten the mood a little, sharing this.......
Police in Liverpool did a Stop and Search on a local young driver driving his car at a maximum of 29mph through Toxteth last Saturday night.
They discovered he had a full clean licence, He had valid Insurance.
The car was MOT tested, taxed, and the tyres met the minimum requirements.. It's lighting was fully functional.
They brought in the drugs squad but after using the sniffer dogs and searching they found nothing, the driver and the car were clean.
A thorough search of the young man and car including removing all the inner linings, boot floor, etc failed to find any offensive weapon.
A Police Spokesperson later stated that they remained unconvinced, but with nothing found were only able to prosecute him for wasting Police time.
