I don't know if we have anyone on the forum who is professional trained and experienced in the areas of MET. I've probably mentioned on the forum before that I enrolled on a 14 months auto-electrical course for refresher training and to bring me up to speed with modern electronics, anyway the course is nearly finished and to my shock I have recently been handed a written assessment with regards removing and fitting body panels, and asked about industry agreed standards when doing this type of work. The questions some are straight forwards but some are for professionals in that expertise, clearly I am not. I looking for someone who might be able to advise me how to answer some of the more difficult questions. I did ask the lecturer to put material on our student website to provide me some insight to help me learn the subject, but it seems the lecturer is unwilling to provide any coursework material to cover the assessments!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No point me adding my ten-pence-worth, as bodywork and trim are both "optional extras" as far as the Isle of Skye is concerned.
Unless you happen to include the skills involved in pressing-out panelwork that has been "adjusted" by errant cattle, or the scratches you get in shiny bodywork from over-testosteroned tups (fighting their reflections......) that happen to roam around.

How are you supposed to learn if not provided with the correct tools.

Count me out of this one as well...
The few attempts I have had a filling and spraying cars - well to be honest looked like "a child had done it".
I have in past times employed paint sprayers - and to frank. They are a funny breed!
Never have I met one who does not think he is "the best in his field". Sort of an air of arrogancy. It must me the artistic flare required to sculpture body filler into a shape of a humble car.
Car refinishing is the c##p end of the motortrade in my opinion - very labour intensive - slightly above car breaking and roadside recovery - best not get involved in any of it.

Found loads of Goblins Mermaids and unicorns but no qualified professional bodywork techs, are you sure they exist?
