When I bought the Ruby it had a seized engine although it had a complete engine overhaul 4000 miles ago new liners, pistons, big end & main bearings, valves & guides, the owner before me use to run the engine every month but one day it wouldn't start so he just left it, for how long I do not know, but the people that rebuilt the engine must have missed some thing, when I removed the cylinder head number three piston was seized in the liner water had got into the engine, removed three of the pistons that was slightly rusty same as the liners number three was a different matter it took a lot of persuasion to remove the piston horned the liners and they have turned out ok, all the piston rings were seized in the groves but putting the pistons in boiling water expanded the pistons so I could free the rings all ok so far just waiting for the gaskets to arrive & then I can start the rebuild, I will let you all know when I get a song out of Ruby
