I have been asked to replace a faulty lambda sensor on a 2003 corolla verso 2.0l vvti
The sensor is bank 1 sensor 1 but there are four sensors,two before and two after cat at manifold.....not sure which is which,don't have the car here!

Favourite is top sensor at front / cam drive end of the engine. But some scanners seem to get the positioning wrong on Toyota's I usually disconnect one at a time whilst watching the result on live data.

I have to order the sensor so just got to order the right one,don't have the car here at the minute.
I looked on lambdapower uk and it says bank 1 sensor 1 is nearside upper but don't want to order the wrong one from Toyota as im sure they will be expensive.
That would go with what ''rebel'' said

Sensor 1 will be an upper. It's the bank designation that confuses things. Both upper sensors are normally the same, so you could buy one and then trial and error it.
