i've never had a vic test done before and looking online it seems glasgow has closed down and kilmarnock is my nearest one now,can anyone confirm this as surely a large city like glasgow needs a test centre,also whats best way to book it,phone,online or at the centre

If you book online then they phone you back with an appointment time, and then you pay over the phone by card. That's the way I've always done it

Yet 20 miles away there is a massive Vosa site that does the hgvs, plenty of room there to put a vic check shack!

so i sent the online form on monday morning said could take up to three days to get to me so will give it tomorrow and then may need to phone them,wasn't convinced the form actually sent as no acknowledgement,pressed the submit button but nothing came on screen to say it had been sent ,no email conformation either

can anyone explain the process to me as i have spent all day trying to contact vosa on the phone starting from 9am this morning until now 4pm,nothing but busy tones,totally peed off with this service now,should i try to visit the actual test centre

tried to send online many times gave up couldn't get them on phone either so drove to test centre and done it there,what a kerfuful
