Hi all. Just had a friend of mine call me, he's trying to replace the rear brake pads in his father's 2009 MkIII Renault Scenic. Unfortunately (read fortunately) he is some distance away from me so I can't see the vehicle. Apparently it has electric motors on the calliper (like VW?) not like the earlier Renault design with cables and motor in middle of the car. Has anyone ever done these, a brief method would be appreciated. He has access to a Launch scanner if needed. More progress... Thanks in advance.

Need to access brakes or service area an out it in position 1 to wind calipers back.
Then position 2 when new pads fitted.
Can't help more than that sorry. As I use Bosch to do it
