following on from the other thread,i thought ill continue it on here! i once, and only once scrapped a car for a customer who had had enough of it going wrong and then giving problems during repair,it said 1.9 on the back but he had a 1.7 engine fitted to it. i done head gasket on it,but the piston squashed the gasket and it locked up,when i stripped it again and told him what had happend he said,"ive had enough of this car, just scrap it "and walked away,he was an elderly gentleman. a few weeks later he walked in,"have you fixed my car yet?" log book and in writing ever since!!!

I had an MOT and a pair of rear callipers fitted to a Rover 45. Took the place a week to source the callipers and after picking it up the pedal had more travel than Thomas Cook. So, not wanting to bother with them again I decided I'd bleed the b*gger myself. Got the locking nut out and it seems that the garage had buggered it up and I couldn't get the nuts off. New one ordered and an invoice handed to the garage...
