Thing is, C4 loves to run programmes with a class envy bent. As mentioned there are plenty of idiots out there hooning about in cars that they may not have bought themselves. Just because these cost 10-20 times more doesn't make them more or less idiots. C4 could have easily filmed any suburban halfords car park on a saturday night, but idiots thrashing Corsas/Astras/Clios wouldn't have sold.

I was in London today and had a rip round Sloane Square.
Had a race with a camel jockey down through Knightsbridge; luckily in the van, I just blended in well with the crowds ;D ;D

The trouble is I had trouble feeling any sympathy with the residents when they spoke with such a plum in their mouth.
As you say it's no different to any other town or car park it was just flash cars, mind you I almost wet myself when that bloke almost had his eye taken out by that nipper with the umbrella ;D ;D ;D ;D
