A guy I worked with a few years ago (not for very long!) went out to a megane with hg failure. He gave them a quote to do the work, they were happy, he even delivered it back to them with a receipt he knocked up himself. I had to pick it up a couple of days later when the owner tried to drive it and found that the kseal hadn't magically fixed it. The guy wad made to give a full refund, pay retail rate for the job to be done properly, then got invited for a chat without tea and biscuits. sent from my HTC using proboards android app what no tea and choccy biccys? thats disgusting

If the tester produced the mot certificate through his work place ie Kwik fit why wasn't it picked up by management, did he pay for the certificate ? I think more people are involved and it should be reported

He's done a Stevie Wonder MOT and corrected the fails on the MOT computer for the £200 instead of doing the work.
Shop him and get VOSA involved, no doubt he'll be the named tester on the computer or a "mate" will be he's bunged £100 to for the pass.

Good old inverted appeal in my opinion for this one.

I don't know anything about the British legal system but it seems to me that this guy has committed fraud or theft and it should be reported to the police.
