I've been thinking of a new project, a focus estate ST turbo. Using a 2007 ish focus estate.
Back in the old days when doing similar things to a escort using rs turbo stuff it was just case of swapping everything over from a donor vehicle.
With modern electrics and things like canbus would it still be a case of fitting a full focus st wiring loom and adapting the wiring for the rear lights. Would things like airbags all tally up or could I be opening a big can of worms?

Its just a thought at the minute, but I'm looking into what will be involved.

That would interesting to read about members projects
I'm sure you'd run into a few unexpected issues
But I'd say it could be done on a limited budget

Its just a thought at the minute, but I'm looking into what will be involved. I would have thought it won't be easy but not impossible. Wiring looms would be the main issue I would have thought. Somebody must have done it somewhere. Donor vehicle year around 2007 year would be better in terms of budget unless you buy a Cat C or D and repair that but not flood damaged ones. Mind you that last statement is defeating your object sorry.
