I had to replace the starter motor on a friends van last night,took me 4 hours... the entire front had to come off just to be able to see & get at the starter motor which took all of 10 mins to swop over not a bad job but so much stuff to undo & remove. Attachment Deleted

Check your ignition switch is nice and free, seen a few of these with faulty switches stick and burn out starters, especially if they are dusty builders vans.

I checked the switch,its fine,van is 7 years old & has covered 230,000 miles now so starter not done bad.

simple to do and shocking the same on the vivaro and trafic aswell. good little money earner
