Hello everyone.
I was wondering if any technicians or mechanics in the UK could help with this. Which OE or OEM equivalent fuel pump brand would you recommend I buy and why when replacing a faulty one? Also, have you had to stop using a brand? If yes, why?
I have not had very good experiences with replacing fuel pumps so your advice will help me in taking a decision going forward.
Thanks.

For a job like a fuel pump (where having to do it again is a pain) I'd be buying either OE from the dealer, or OE quality from a proper supplier, and never ebay.

I've never had to change a fuel pump on any of my cars, so can't advise directly. Personally I'd go to a good local factors and see what they have to offer.

A genuine lift pump/sender unit maybe worth more than the car
But worth a call just in case there not too dear, you could be surprised

I've had loads of bad experiences changing fuel pumps. Some idiot always puts them somewhere inaccessible under the car, or under the back seat! That's why I always make sure; a) that the fuel pump has been measured and proven to be at fault b) that the thing that made the fuel pump fail has been fixed first
