I do quite a few alternators as I work mobile and been doing lots with worn out clutch pulleys the last while.I usually take them into the auto elec chap near me but im thinking of buying the tools so I can remove the pulleys in situ,is there a cost effective set that will cover all cars?

I don't know about " all " makes but the usual suspects do fairly comprehensive kits Don't know off hand the costs of kits Under £200 Maybe

Ask your factor what they have, think mine is laser kit and was about £30. Have found they dont always fit the orginal on the car but they will fit the new one to get it on.
