Wondering if you guys can tell me the proper name if it has a more technical name that is
For the back plate for door handle ( plate that sit inside the door with spring etc)
Was fitting my door lock today. and some how snapped the little bracket that secures the handle and the lock barrel.( part where use the screw through end of door to Wind out so barral can be removed)
Hope that makes sense to someone. As ill need to order online/ over the phone if I can't find a scrappies open tomorrow

It's vectra c 2004 model.
Serves me right for trying to shove it on in the rain.
Unblocked the heater matrix on mother in laws corsa so thought while tools are in me boot ill quickly change door. (Micro switch been playing up for few weeks thinking door still open)
All going well until cane to getting little barrel part back in. Then with it being my own car. Quickly lost patience. And brute strength and ignorance got me to this stage lol
It's literally the fork part that moves with screw adjustment that's snapped but I'm guessing it has to be bought as a complete unit.
All still works ok. Bar not having the option of opening with key in door ATM. So no major rush. But it'll be Sod's law that central locking will act up
