Ok, the focus is now probably staying. If it does, it needs some more comfortable seats. Will seats from a 3 door fit a 5 door ok? And would mondeo seats drop straight in?

There likely to be a tad wider
Why not try and source some st170 seats
Unlikely to be any more comfortable though

Since I knackered my back, I e always found seats with big side bolsters more comfortable, as I have weakened core muscles that makes it hard work to hold myself upright in the chair.
I've still got a pair of vaux issue recaros, might see if I can find.some subframes to use with them...

I speak from experience Get and see your doctor, get referred to a Physio at local hospiital and they will assess you and give you detailed exercises
