I need everyones help I'm about to buy this car www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Daimler-V8-250-Mk2-1969-Barnfind-Excellent-Body-for-Restoration-/251199450737?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item3a7ca76e71If you could all call round at brekkie time. I'll travel to a scrapyard 100's miles away and find every part I need under one roof. I'll be back by 11.00, by which time the car will have been stripped to a bare shell and resprayed. The engine and gearbox will have been stripped and rebuilt, but not before someones thrown their teddies and stormed out, but a quick turn on the karioke sorts this little fracas out By lunchtime, the car will be back on the road, ready for some cockney tw*t to come along and give a ridiculous valuation. Full of delight, we'll all go the pub for the rest of the day Who's up for it??

Unfortuately, the crank had to be re-ground, new piston rings, valves had to all be re-lapped and a new cam fitted. Good news is that they managed to do all this during their morning break. Great work lads. New wings and sills are being welded as we speak. Should be done just before lunch (as long as they don't start arguing)

Unless they accidentally set fire to that tiny bit of underseal and all hell breaks loose as it threatens to burn down the whole workshop. Amazing how well a stripped bare metal shell burns....

well unfortunatley there have been development's,the welder did set fire to the one tiny spot of underseal, there was a huge arguement as everyone blamed each other, then 5 of the team including the welder and painter walked out, ending up down the pub they where on there 5th pint, when the boss walked in pleaded with them to come back,so they went back at 1.30pm the car was finished by 2.15pm,the cockney has just left after valueing it at £35000 a profit of £10000 so everyone's a winner in the end roll credit's The End
