Quick but have a look at Sebastian Leobs Peugeot when he smashed the Pikes Peak record. 3.2 V6 twin turbo pushing 875 horses it's mental.

I would doubt it any extra time gained would be lost over the course of the run due to carrying extra weight IMO.
