Spotted this on facebook, an alternative to a gas cylinder stove / heater View AttachmentNow I do like that I've been rattling my brain for ideas of things to make recently. I can do the making, I just lack the ideas!

Ive berk sales to make one of these for her craft room Picked up a few old 14 foot shipping crates from work yesterday that will provide the wood. Quick whizz through the planer and it should look ok. A wipe over with some stain to finish it. Nail holes will help make it look older

made from wheel rims and castors. I made an oil-fired heater like that, couple of years ago. If I can get a clean pic of it, I'll post, but it only took one wheel-rim (Landrover, of course) one propane bottle for the main burner case, and a CO2 bottle for the stove pipe. I had to pay some money out for the 5" flue, and a decent heat-proof (220celcius) flashing piece to fit the flue through the corrogated roof of the shed, but it has been free to run after that. Mind you, the whole lot caught alight the other day, unattended, so it's not all been plain-sailing....

Wasting your time re paint the floor in the summer the thing, its very unusual to not use workshop in summer!! this xmas we got 4 straight days off, maybe more!im thinking to paint the half that we usually use,as four days should be long enough for it to dry!! i wonder if i can add something to the paint to make it cure quicker?

Very hard to keep a painted floor dry unless you have a lot of heat on, a power floated concrete floor is the way to go,
